Advent Air Conditioning was founded in 1981 by Mike Douglas with a simple mission: provide honest, high-quality HVAC service while treating people the right way. After relocating to Texas, Mike built the company on faith-based values, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers with excellence — principles that still guide us today.
Over the decades, Advent Air Conditioning earned a reputation across North Texas for reliable workmanship, ethical business practices, and customer-first service. That commitment was recognized when Advent became the first HVAC company in North Texas to receive the BBB Torch Award for Ethics.
In 2019, leadership transitioned to Mike’s son, Jared Douglas, ensuring the continuation of Advent’s family-owned legacy. Under Jared’s leadership, the company navigated industry challenges, expanded services, and continued delivering dependable comfort to homes and businesses throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. In 2021, Jared officially purchased the company, ushering in a new chapter built on the same trusted foundation.
